The career at Government College Seema (Rohru) is a student-cantered initiative that connects students with global job markets, offering comprehensive career services and preparing them for future employment. From the start of their academic journey, students are provided with guidance and opportunities that help them succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Functions:

1. Industry and Academic Collaboration: The Cell bridges the gap between academic learning and industry demands by inviting corporations to participate in recruitment drives.

2. Career Guidance:

  • Students receive advice and support to align their skills and strengths with industry expectations.
  • The Cell helps students map their skills and interests to available job roles.
  • Counselling services assist students in making informed and independent career choices based on self-awareness.

3. Recruitment Drives:

  • Companies register via the college’s platform to engage in recruitment activities.
  • Students, especially final-year students, participate in interviews and group discussions organized by the Cell.
  • Regular sessions include company presentations, mock interviews, and group discussions.

4. Career Development Programs:

  • Workshops on communication skills, resume writing, and interview techniques.
  • Guest lectures from industry experts to familiarize students with real-world expectations.
  • Internship opportunities at the end of the academic year, particularly for degrees like B.B.A., giving students practical experience.
