THE BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES

The Scouts and Guides unit of the College is working effectively under the able guidance of Dr. Ravi Kiran and Assistant Prof. Ashwani Sharma. There are two units of Scouts and Guides, Rovers (Boys) and Rangers (Girls) which have enrolled 48 students altogether. The Bharat Scouts and Guides is a voluntary unit, non-political and educational movement for the young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race and creed in accordance with the purpose, principle and method conceived by the founder- Lord Baden Powell (1907).

Purpose of the Unit

The main purpose of the unit in this college is to contribute to the overall development of the students of rural area which includes; physical, social, intellectual, spiritual and cultural growth as a responsible citizen of India, with Principles

  1. Duty to God
  2. Duty to Country
  3. Duty to other
  4. Duty to Self.
The Scout of Govt. P. G. College Seema Promises:

  4. To obey the Scout Law.
  5. The Bharat Scouts and Guides are privileged to establish two units comprising 24 Candidates each in both the Units of Rover and Rangers. In this academic session the Bharat Scouts and Guides organized different social
  6. work, community work, awareness activities, literary programme etc.
