During this session nearly 25 clubs and societies were formed. In association with the concerned departments these clubs and societies are working effectively for integrated personality of the students.
ICT Club

  • Organized a two day workshop on 25-26 August 2018, teaching students about online form & fees submission, installation of Seema College app, college website, etc.
  • One month industrial training to BCA students from 2nd Jan to 2nd Feb 2019.

Red Ribbon Club

  • Efficiently and effectively provided the First Aid to the Students of the Boys and Girls Hostel respectively besides Day-scholars throughout the academic session and various sports activities.
  • Organised a Seminar on 30th August 2018 on the occasion of International Youth Day/ Week celebration w.e.f. 11th to 31st August 2018. Keynote Speakers on this occasion were Dr.Kapil(Vet. Surgeon) and Dr.Parmod Chauhan(Principal Govt. College Seema).
  • Provided First Aid to the participants of Group IV HPU Youth Festival.
  • Three students namely Reetika, Geetika and Asha attended Red Ribbon Club WORKSHOP at CH Rohru.
  • Observed “WORLD AIDS DAY” on the theme “Know Your Status” on 1st December 2018 in which AIDS AWARENESS RALLY was carried from the college campus to the nearby village Bijouri to lower Seema which was flagged off by DSW Prof. B.S. Pirta.

Political Science and Public Administration Association (PSPAA)
During the session 2018-19, a General Assembly of the Association was held in the college auditorium on 10 August 2018 and the general house unanimously elected Dr. Rai Singh Negi as its President & Mr. Nitesh Chauhan, B.A. 5th Semester as its Vice President, Mr. Balwant Singh as secretary and Miss Shilpa as joint Secretary. Dr. Gopal Dutt Sharma nominated as a Coordinator of this Association and Prof. Varun Bandta and Prof. Nalin Chaman were nominated as the members of the Advisory Committee of the Association.

  • Organized its 3rd Annual Youth Plenary on the theme of “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat’’ on 31 August 2018 in college Auditorium. Dr. Ashwani Kumar Chancellor AP Goyal University Shimla (Former Governor of Nagaland State & Director CBI) was chief guest at the function. It involved speeches on the theme, patriotic and regional dances, quiz on Indian constitution and polity, panel discussion and Youth Parliament on various issues concerning youths and nation were organized on the occasion. Besides this, an exhibition of posters on nationalism and patriotism and traditional food stalls were organized.
  • The Human Right Day on organized on 10th December, 2018.
  • The PSPAA and NSS Unit of the College organized an educational tour from Rohru to Mumbai¬ and Goa from 30th Jan–7th Feb 2019. 56 Students of the college along with 3 Staff members participated in this tour. During the tour places of historical, religious and cultural importance in Mumbai such as Gateway of India, Elephanta caves, Sidhi Vinayak temple, various churches and beaches in south and North Goa, were visited.

Department of Fashion Designing

  • Organized an exhibition on 6th Sept. 2018 in the college auditorium. Hand-made items were put on exhibition as handkerchiefs, woolen teddy toys, knitting works, Chamba rumal, etc.
  • On the eve of Karwa chauth, mehndi special event was organized in Rohru market.

Department of Hindi

  • Organized Hindi diwas on Sept. 14, 2018 which was marked by various activities related to linguistic profile of the national language.
  • Organized an educational tour of Rajasthan in December 2018.

Commerce Club

  • Organized a Rakhi Sale fair in the college campus from 21-25th Aug 2018 as a part of marketing training.
  • On 7th Aug organized a programme based on “reuse of plastic” that comprised of articles by students related to the theme.

Young Sociologists Association

  • Organized a tour to Amritsar and Wagah border in December 2018.

English Literary Club

  • The club organized its function on 20th Dec 2018 entitled ‘A Trans-Cultural Bonanza’- Unleashing Global Euphoria. It involved activities like skit, dance and speeches on various themes. The central event of the program was a small comedy The Dear Departed that spilled hails of laughter upon the audience. Dr. Lalita Rawat was the chief guest and there were many teachers of the college to encourage and appreciate performances of the students.
  • The club organizes a weekly activity related to grammatical and linguistic skills.
